Wicked Jigsaw Puzzles -- A highly personalized jigsaw puzzle gift
Our Wicked jigsaw puzzle line offers the greatest level of customization of any
puzzle that we sell. All of our Wicked puzzles are cut using a random cutting
style, which makes these puzzles a frustrating joy to solve.
By using this random cutting style, we will often make cuts along color
transitions and around important features, while cutting in customizable figural
pieces into the puzzle. Figural pieces are simply an individual or collection of
pieces within a puzzle, that when assembled, form a distinct image. To the right is an
example of two such figurals, which are from a puzzle crafted for an avid

Wicked jigsaw puzzles typically are cut to have fully interlocking edge pieces,
while the center pieces are semi-interlocking in nature. This simply means that
two or more adjacent pieces may not seem to fit together by themselves, until
one or more adjacent pieces are found. This semi-interlocking nature makes our
Wicked puzzles very challenging to solve, while the fully interlocking outer
pieces keep everything in order. On average, these puzzles average 2 or more
pieces per square inch. An example of random cut pieces is found below:
The figure on the left shows three pieces before assembly. Note that there are
no straight lines are repeatable features that most puzzlers use as an aid
during assembly.
